Biography

After a decade at ITV where she rose to Series Producer at the age of 25, Kate founded KMB Productions Ltd at 27. Within three years a major independent, Talent Group PLC, bought her company and she became CEO of Talent TV South where she produced hit shows for broadcasters such as ITV, A+E Networks UK, UKTV and TLC's break out factual hit, Tina Malone: Pregnant at 50. In 2014 Talent South transformed into Woodcut Media and since then has become one of the fasted growing indies in the UK. Under Kate's leadership, Woodcut has produced over 500 hours of programming. In the UK, Woodcut has become one of the leading true crime producers with hit franchise, World's Most Evil Killer's now in its ninth 20-part season with Sky. Other key crime titles include Prime Video's Murder in a Teacup, Murder at First Swipe, Confessions of a Psycho Killer, Killer In My Family for Discovery+, Fatal Family Feuds for Oxygen and Close Encounters With Evil for A&E. Kate has also been the driving force behind the company's global specialist factual franchise Combat Ships, now in its fourth series with Smithsonian as well as Queens That Changed the World for Channel 4 and Britain's Forgotten War Stories with Tony Robinson also for Channel 4.
