Brandon Ronald Specht was born in Newport Beach, California on October 22, 1984. He is the youngest of three sons to David and Kathie. David is a businessman for pharmaceutical company and Kathie was a teacher. Shortly before his fifth birthday his family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona which would become his "home". While in Arizona, he told by his music teacher in elementary school to try-out for the Phoenix Boys Choir. He made it and the Phoenix Boys choir was the launch pad for his musical career. When he was in 4th grade his family moved to Ohio. While there, he got to travel the world singing in the Ohio Boy Choir. Shortly thereafter, while in seventh grade, his family moved back to Arizona. Around the same time he stopped singing professionally, he became very involved in team sports and learned to play guitar. As he got older priorities changed and music once again became his number one drive. At the age of 20, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and has been there since.

Has a border collie named Ringo. After Ringo Starr of the Beatles.
Has been good friends with Cal and Shannon Cambell, Glen Campbell's youngest sons, since the age of six.

Oldest brother Matthew is a press secretary for Congressman Jeff Flake (R-AZ). He resides in Washington, DC. Other brother Jason is a University of Chicago Law School graduate and works for a judge in San Antonio, Texas.
Resides on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee.
