  • Kunkle is an Emmy & Peabody winning producer with a diverse background in documentary and narrative projects that reflects a dedication to producing impactful and compelling films across various genres and platforms. He's a verite driven documentary producer, whom recently served as Co-Executive Producer on E. Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin's six-part docuseries "Photographer." Previously served as a Producer on Matthew Heineman's Emmy-Winning Showtime Series "The Trade," National Geographic "Explorer," Animal Planet's "The Zoo," CNN's "Inside Man," A&E's "American Takedown" and Showtime's "Seven Deadly Sins."

    His producing works comprise the award-winning & 2012 Sundance dramatic competition selection "The Comedy" directed by Alverson, the feature documentary "American Jesus," Adrian Garcia Bogliano's werewolf drama "Late Phases" (starring Ethan Embry, Nick Damici and Tina Louise) and includes a series of "pulp" thrillers with Glass Eye Pix/Dark Sky Films, made of Joe Maggio's "Bitter Feast," (starring James LeGros) Jim Mickle's "Stake Land," (Midnight Madness award winner at 2010¹s Toronto Int'l FF), and James Felix McKenney's "Hypothermia," (starring Michael Rooker).

    Brent began his career assisting at indie non-profit film champion IFP. Then served as a producer's and development assistant at Iridium Entertainment. In 2007, Brent began working full-time for Larry Fessenden's Glass Eye Pix. There he served as line producer on "I Sell the Dead" (starring Dominic Monaghan and Ron Perlman), production supervisor on Ti West's "The House of the Devil" (On over 15 Top-10 Lists) and music supervisor on "I Can See You" and "Liberty Kid." He co-produced JT Petty's short film "Blood Red Earth" and produced Graham Reznick's 3D short film "The Viewer."
