Rene H. Hernandez is a writer, producer, director, and a film festival
coordinator from Corona, California. Rene first got into filmmaking in
the late 80s. He and a few friends produced a series of short videos in
their own backyards. In 1997, Hernandez co-wrote, produced, and
directed his first one-hour film tiled, "Cinema." But it wasn't until
2002 when he really got serious about filmmaking while a student at Cal
State University Fullerton. Since then, he has directed and produced
over a dozen shorts and documentaries. He is also the founder of 2
annual film festivals where he invites film students and Indie
filmmakers to exhibit their work.
