Biography

Luis Galli is an American actor, director, writer, Professor of drama and producer. His last movies are "Soft Spoken" (2018) and Garden of Hope (2018). Luis is known for Zapatos/Shoes (2017) and his celebrated dance in American TV with J.Lo in "Inside the Actor's Studio" (2004). He made his debut in Latino cinema in box office hit "Vidas Paralelas"(2007) and TV series "Traditions" (2016). He got the LatinACE award for his role of Dr. Juan del Castillo, in TV mini series "Saint Rose of Lima" (2017). Luis has worked as Coordinator of The Drama Department at NSPE-the New School University in New York and also as drama visiting Professor at Warsaw Film Institute . On stage he worked on a variety of comedies, dramas and classics ( Mid-summer's night dream directed by Stuart Vaughn). He has also acted in musicals. Before becoming an actor he worked as a Lawyer at the UN in Switzerland. Luis Galli loves painting and has written his first novel "Mujer Desaparecida" (Vanished Woman).

Luis debuted in the American Television dancing with J.Lo in "Inside the Actor's Studio Show" in 2004. He made his debut in Latino cinema in the box office hit "Vidas Paralelas" (2007). Luis got the 2018 Latin ACE award for best actor in the documentary TV series "Saint Rose of Lima" (2017) in his role of Don Juan del Castillo. Before he obtained the 2014 Best actor HOLA award for his role of Earl Mariano de Aliaga in the drama "The Liberator's Lover" (2014). Luis has taught acting workshops in Europe at the Warsaw Film Institute and teaches as a full time Assistant Professor at the New School University. He served as the Coordinator of the Drama Department at NSPE. On Stage he has worked in drama, musicals and comedy such as "A Mid-summer's night dream" at the Lucille Lortel theater directed by Stuart Vaughn. Before becoming an actor Luis worked as a Lawyer at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. He loves painting and writing and combined both in his first work of fiction "Mujer Desaparecida" (Vanished Woman) available internationally in Latin American, Spain and New York City.
