Chilean-American award-winning Director, Writer and Actress. Originating from Santiago, Carolina embraced the vibrant and diverse atmosphere of Southern California from the age of two. Her deep-seated passion for dance, theatre, and film fueled a successful 20-year acting career in Hollywood, recurring in the hit series FBI and appearing on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Magnum P.I., Young and The Restless and sitcom Saint George starring George Lopez.
Encouraged by her mentors, she bravely explored directing and made the bold pivot during the pandemic with her first narrative short, The Avon Lady. This hilarious heart-felt comedy about her mother who faced her fears of speaking English, won 13 awards (Best Film, Best Comedy, Best Direction) and over 25 nominations. Festivals include Oscar-Qualifying LAShorts, NYLFF, BurbankIFF, and Newport Beach Film Festival.
She explored her vision directing a stunning music video for four-time Grammy Award winning Hawaiian musician Kalani Pe'a combining the language of her beloved Hula and cinematic story-telling to portray a magical life-long love story shot under the light of the Hanalei moon.
Today, she stands as an award-winning filmmaker, poised to join the ranks of the powerhouse women shaping the entertainment industry. In 2026 she is developing two feature films: a dark comedy slated to shoot in the vineyards of wine country and a family travel comedy set in the pueblos of Chile.
