- Ileana D. Vasquez is the founder of LolitaMoon Productions. She has won a Bronze Telly and Gold Aurora for writing/directing a Women In Film, Los Angeles short distributed by a television network and co-produced in collaboration with Women in Film, Los Angeles in association with LolitaMoon Productions. She has received an Accolade Award for executive producing. Ileana also wrote, directed, and produced the short film, A New Yorker @Paris, filmed entirely in Paris with support from Gotham, Paris Film and sponsored by Christian Dior and Vanessa Bruno.
Ileana holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. She is fluent in three languages and also speaks basic Italian and has studied German. A self-taught filmmaker, she has also studied acting in Paris, experimental theater in Los Angeles under Rachel Rosenthal and is an exhibited photographer. She has participated in Women In Film, Los Angeles programs under the mentorship of Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming, shadowed director Betty Thomas on the set of Grace and Frankie and interned with Producer Stanley Kramer.
In 2021, Ileana participated in Sundance Institute’s Sundance Collab Directors Lab where she workshopped this female led action thriller. Ileana was Husslup Ambassador from 2023 -2024, a professional film industry app backed by NBCUniversal.
In 2025, Ileana successfully completed William Morris Endeavor’s Nxt Industry Sessions. 2026 Participant of Johnny Depp Present’s the People’s Artist Competition.
