- Chris Klein was born on May 22, 1959 in Elstree, England, UK. Chris is known for The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Whiteout (2009) and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008).
- He has worked on many theatre sets, creating backdrops and related artwork. He has contributed to major productions in London's West End and on several Broadway shows. Producing work for the Almeida, Glyndebourne and the Royal Opera House in the UK, to the Radio City Music Hall on Broadway. His recent production schedule has included working on the sets for Quebec's renowned Cirque du Soleil (Varekai, Corteo, Delerium, Love and others).
- Employed as Head of Scenic Art for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival of Canada, Ontario from 2007 until 2015.
- From 2016 Chris is serving as Head of Scenic Art for the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
