Uno Helmersson is a Swedish composer for film and television. His credits include the international series The Bridge, the Oscar-nominated documentary Flee, and the Emmy-winning Armadillo. In recent years, he has composed original scores for A Nearly Normal Family (2023), the Netflix documentary One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 (2026), and The Remarkable Life of Ibelin (2024), for which he won a Cinema Eye Honor for Outstanding Original Score.
Educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Helmersson's background in jazz informs his intuitive approach to music. He often composes based on the psychological narrative rather than the visual material, frequently modifying acoustic instruments to create his distinct soundscapes.
