  • Ankit Love is one of the rare few writers, actors and directors that are truly artists focused on making masterful and timeless works. He a leading artist of the current metamodernist movement. Love excels in all aspects of modern filmmaking from contemporary story telling, understanding digital cinema technology, complex special effects to a sensitive approach in working with actors. He was born in India and moved to Europe at the age of 6, he speaks fluent English and Hindi. Love has trained at the New York Film Academy, Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and with Jack Waltzer, the acting coach favored by Roman Polanski and Dustin Hoffman. While he is a natural at making films and has done so since the age of 15, he has also trained in 16mm black and white filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. In 2012, he produced and directed the sci-fi music video "Beethoven Burst" that was featured on VH1 and was a No.1 Hit on MTV Hive. This music film was also part of the official selection at Indie Fest USA and won a Silver Lei at the Honolulu Film Awards, and a Bronze Palm prize at the Mexico International Film Festival. In 2012, his feature documentary film "Runners" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the "Doc Corner". He has produced and directed the 19th Century period short film "Whale!" shot on a tall ship, and underwater. It was a part of the "Short Film Corner" at Cannes 2012 and later selected by Nick Cannon, presenter of America's Got Talent, as the full motion background of his new website.

    Ankit Love is now working on developing an adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet" and another performance art piece.
