Himani Kapoor, an acclaimed Indian playback singer, first came into the limelight as a finalist on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" in 2005. Born and raised in Faridabad, Haryana, she has since become a prominent figure in the Indian music industry.

Kapoor showcased her versatility by hosting "Antakshari" on Zee TV alongside Karan Oberoi before competing in "Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar" on Star Plus. She achieved widespread fame and became a household name overnight with her rendition of "Dum Dum Mast Hai" for the movie Band Baaja Baaraat, composed by Salim-Sulaiman.

She later participated in "Music Ka Maha Muqabla" as part of Mika Ki Sherni on Star Plus. In 2007, she embarked on a world tour with Himesh Reshammiya, performing across 20 different countries.

Her Bollywood journey includes several hit songs such as "Dil Diya Hai," "Aap Ki Khatir," "Chingari," "Bachna Ae Haseeno," "Fool N Final," "Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye," "Band Baaja Baaraat," "Pagglait" and many more.

In addition to playback singing, Himani has made a name for herself with original songs like "Deewwani," "Nirmohi," "Sui Ve," "Jaan," "Naina di Bandook," "Heer Chhalla," "Maati" and "Sharam da Cholaa". She has also ventured into songwriting, penning lyrics for both her own songs and those of other artists.

In recognition of her contributions, Himani was honored by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, with an award on Women's Day in 2008. She later released a song dedicated to Indira Gandhi on Women's Day.

Himani Kapoor continues to captivate audiences with her soulful voice and dynamic performances, leaving a significant mark on the Indian music scene.
