Penelope Granycome

Penelope spent her early years in Gibraltar. She holds a BA Honours Degree in English Literature with Drama and performed for many seasons with the renowned National Youth Theatre of Great Britain - acting, singing and dancing in London's West End.
Her work includes award-winning films which have screened at festivals including the BFI London Film Festival, Visions du Réel, Raindance and Cannes. She has featured in numerous commercials and photographic shoots, working several times with world acclaimed Fine Art Photographer, Julia Fullerton-Batten. A photograph of Penelope by Julia in the first UK lock-down featured in the global press, was the subject of a TV programme on SKY Arts and the cover of a Hangar Art PhotoBrussels coffee table book.
Penelope's commercials include for Amazon Music, Gumtree, LNER, Samsung, Checkatrade, Capital One and KFC as well as formerly for BT Sport, Domino's, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Daimler Chrysler, and the charities Quit Anti-Smoking and Body & Soul.
She is passionate about animal and marine conservation, an experienced scuba diver and enjoys sailing and being on or below water. Penny also writes professionally about travel, diving and well-being for leading UK magazines.
She works and collaborates regularly with Edward Thomasson, a renowned British artist and performance artist, performing in theatre with him across the U.K. and Europe.
