Biography

Peter Taylor was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, UK. He is known for Peter Taylor: My Journey Through the Troubles (2019), States of Terror (1993) and True Spies (2002). He was previously married to Susan McConachy.

Brother of fellow current affairs journalist John Taylor.

He was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) before being awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2025 King's New Years Honours List for his services to Journalism and to Public Service Broadcasting in Henley on Thames, Buckinghamshire, England.
