Scott C. Reynolds

Scott C. Reynolds was born in Watertown, NY. His father worked in the paper industry eventually moving the family to South Carolina. It was here at the age of 8 that Scott began inviting neighborhood kids over to act out favorite television and movie scenes. He would cast roles for the boys and girls (with himself always as the lead), build sets from moving boxes, direct the action including stunt fighting and even hum theme songs. His love of movies about the Navy in particular would influence career choices later in life. As a young adult Scott graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Naval Science including elective courses that enabled him to make 16 mm films.Upon graduation he was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy and earned his wings as a Navy Pilot. His service included duty stations around the world utilizing specialties in Aviation, Intelligence and Public Relations. This included coordination with Hollywood studios in the making of films involving the Navy. After retiring from service, Scott worked as an Advertising Executive - writing and producing radio and television commercials. By chance he was offered an acting role in a major motion picture - The Patriot - with Mel Gibson and Roland Emmerich. He began doing regular work in front of the camera for film and television, commercials, industrials as well as stage plays and improv. Scott did several award winning movies with film schools at the University of Southern California, North Carolina School of the Arts, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. He has studied with Tony Barr's Film Actor Workshop in Los Angeles, Lon Bumgartner's Film Actor Studio and Dortch Acting Studio. Scott has appeared in several mainstream television and film projects including Drop Dead Diva and with George Clooney in Leatherheads. Scott has two children and two grandchildren. He continues to pursue his passion for the craft. He is a fitness instructor and enjoys sport flying, horseback riding and other outdoor activities.
