Body Count is known for Universal Soldier (1992), What Now (2015) and Gears of War 3 (2011).

Members are Ice-T, Ernie C, Ill Will, Vincent Price, Juan of the Dead, and Sean E Sean.

The band was the subject of controversy in 1992 due to their song "Cop Killer". The song was publicly condemned by President George H.W. Bush, Vice President Dan Quayle, and Charlton Heston.

The band members met in Crenshaw High School.

Ice-T is the lead singer.
