C.V. Wood was born on December 17, 1920 in Woods County, Oklahoma, USA. C.V. is known for The Special London Bridge Special (1972). C.V. was married to Joanne Dru and Mary Margaret Dickinson. C.V. died on March 14, 1992 in Houston, Texas, USA.

As Walt Disney's vice president and general manager of Disneyland, he spent two years researching the viability of the theme park, and chose the site on which it was built. Left Disney in 1956 to form Marco Engineering, providing market research, design, engineering, and construction to the leisure industry.

Bought London Bridge in 1969 for $2.46 million, then spent an additional $7.5 million moving it from London, England, to Lake Havasu, Arizona.
