- Born and raised in rural Massachusetts, Dan Gross started composing music professionally at the age of 19 for Disney World while attending Berklee College of Music. Since then, Dan has understudied the last living silent film accompanist, performed dozens of shows with Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), written songs performed by Jack Black, Val Kilmer, and Dave Grohl, composed all episodes of Drunk History as well as the Michelle Obama-produced Waffles and Mochi, and successfully pitched and sold a series with Tom Delonge (Blink 182).
Gross's compositional style can be described as whimsical with dark elements and is engaging like deep eye contact. When not composing, Gross travels around the country with his mobile silent movie theatre and his renovated vintage trailer.
