- Adam J Wagener was born on June 12, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, to Carole, a physical therapist, and William Wagener, a real estate developer and TV show host. He is of French, German, and Jewish descent.
In 1996, he attended St. Joseph High School in Orcutt, CA. In 2000, Adam acquired a bachelor's degree in Communication at Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA. After a one-year teaching stint in South Korea and Japan, Adam returned to California and began his TV and film career by volunteering as a director, editor, camera operator, and producer at a public-access TV studio his father helped to create (Santa Maria Community Television).
After producing and hosting his own tonight-show program (The Adam Bomb Show) with a volunteer crew and local sponsorships, Adam co-produced T.V.: The Movie (2008) with the show's director, T. Anthony Moore, who wrote the feature film script around the TV show. The film won the Best Comedy award at the Indie Gathering Film Festival.
Adam has studied improvisational acting with Monkey Butler, scene study with Will Wallace, film/TV production at Allan Hancock College, and has appeared in commercials as well as several feature films.
