Biography

Born in a small town Mandie excelled in English/Humanities & Art (majoring in Art in all forms, printing, painting, sculpture, photography, craft, history, tech drawing - all forms of art!) She met her ex-husband while living with her father in Queensland, she was 15. They had 2 children Steven who appears in "Even Odds" & had some informal training while Mandie was running "The Stunt Studios" as well as being an ex break-dancing teacher, he now plays guitar. Her daughter Kasira who appears in "Shifty" as well as "Jocks Shock" has always grumbled but is there to help her mum every time. After the breakdown of her marriage & with no direction she read a book which was very thought provoking & passed it on to a friend who came back with a totally different take on it so gave it to yet another mate who also had yet another interpretation of the same book (The Mists of Avalon). This set her on a path of how she could get what's in her head out so people understood it from her point of view. Uncle Mal to the rescue (ex brother in-law), yes life is rather confusing at times, help comes from unexpected sources) who offered to take care of the 2 then primary school age children for Mandie to do her first film & television course. After that she got her first job on "BloodRush DNA" & "Casino Reef" so that was it, she had been bitten by the film bug & had finally found her calling! The rest, as they say is history...
