Joe Mexican has directed over three hundred music videos, has been the cinematographer and editor on dozen's of TV series and motion pictures and has directed several successful genre motion pictures over his two decades in the entertainment industry.

A Louisiana-based producer, director and cinematographer he is known for his rock solid work ethic and radical visual creativity. He's also known in the industry to bring projects in, under budget but with better than expected quality. He has focused on lavish eye popping visuals and highly emotional content meant to draw the viewer into the world being created. He has filmed multiple genre-based films with John Schneider, Oscar nominee Tom Sizemore and other major Hollywood talent.

Joe started his journey into film making as an electrician, and diligently worked his way up to a gaffer, then as an in demand cinematographer. As a cinematographer, he filmed the 2013 family film On Angel's Wings. The film was acquired by UP TV (Uplifting Entertainment), which is available to 60 million pay television households in the United States. He also has collaborated with star and director John Schneider of Dukes of Hazard for multiple features, including Like Son, 4:GO, and Christmas Cars. His work as a director of photography on television and films ran parallel with his music video production and direction which made him the go to guy in his region for hundreds of productions.

His music videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views on social media, YouTube and major networks such as MTV and BET. He has worked with major national artists such as Cupid, Lola Monroe and Juvenile. His music video for Funny Mike "Ain't no 21" has received over ten million views on the YouTube platform.

His skills as a cinematographer and music video director with a strong visual flair, and narrative skill, eventually led to his feature film directorial debut with the Horror Film EXIT 14. The film received international distribution and was well received on multiple distribution platforms. It solidified Joe Mexican as a filmmaker with strong genre storytelling capabilities, creating hyper realistic realities and visceral visual fantasies. Always ambitious, Joe aims to bring his penchant for strong visuals, emotional narratives, and his focus on strong cinematic atmosphere to multiple genre-based films in the future.
