Brett Butler was born on June 15, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Back to the Future (1991), 1982 National League Championship Series (1982) and Sunday Night Baseball (1990). He has been married to Eveline Balac since February 13, 1982. They have four children.

Outfielder for the Atlanta Braves (1981-1983), Cleveland Indians (1984-1987), San Francisco Giants (1988-1990), Los Angeles Dodgers (1991-1994 and 1995-1997) and New York Mets (1994).

Won 1996 Branch Rickey Award in recognition of exceptional community service.

Won 1996 Lou Gehrig Memorial Award for best exemplifying his character and integrity both on and off the field.
