Biography

Sébastien Hameline is a Paris-born, Los Angeles-based DP and specialist in live-action imaging capture for immersive and spatial productions (XR/VR/AR/MR). A Sorbonne alumnus, he has led immersive filmmaking in Los Angeles for over a decade, pairing technical innovation with narrative vision. He is known for multi-camera immersive VR concerts for major acts such as Muse, U2, Shawn Mendes, Snoop Dog, Phoenix, as well as immersive fiction and documentary work in the most remote places. His projects have received international recognition from major film festivals, earned Clio and multiple Emmy nominations. featured in worldwide film festival (Raindance, SXSW, Tribeca, New Images, Slamdance...etc), and simply been the main source to capture immersive content for Oculus, Meta, HTC's Vive, and for Hollywood studios immersive segments. He also contributed to SNL50: The Anniversary Special: Immersive Experience, winner of the Emmy for Outstanding Emerging Media Program for 2025.
