James Tuverson is a multiple award-winning screenwriter with a fearless voice and a deep love for complex, emotionally resonant storytelling. His screenplays-spanning psychological thrillers, dark comedy, and sweeping animated fantasy-are united by a common thread: bold characters pushed to the edge, digging deep to find redemption, self-worth, or the light at the end of the tunnel. A former WGA screenwriter and screenwriting instructor, Tuverson has spent years honing his craft from both the page and the podium. After stepping away from Hollywood to regain creative clarity, he returned with renewed purpose and a laser focus on producing meaningful, unforgettable work.

In the short form world, Tuverson has written and produced multiple films, including Mother's Day, Heart Says It All, Is This Real?, and Zombies Take the Schoolyard. His work has screened at festivals across the U.S. and continues to garner recognition for its daring subject matter and narrative precision.
