- Caitlin McCarthy’s notable projects include the upcoming feature film "Little Audrey." Caitlin wrote the original screenplay and served as Associate Producer. The film, set for release in 2027, is directed and produced by Michael Mailer, with producers Jeff Thomas and John Buffalo Mailer, and features an all-star cast including Emily VanCamp, Jennifer Esposito, Aidan Quinn, and Josh Bowman.
She is also writing and creating the TV series "Gaels" with Lynsey Murdoch (BBC Scottish Voices), with funding support from the Scottish Government and the National Lottery via Creative Scotland.
In addition to her own writing, Caitlin provides screenplay consulting and polishing for feature projects, bringing her award-winning eye for story, character, and dialogue to help writers elevate their work.
An inaugural Sundance Institute Cultural Impact Fellow, Caitlin has earned recognition as a Top 10 Female Writer in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, a "Featured Script" on The Black List website, and a Massachusetts Cultural Council Dramatic Writing Fellowship.
She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. As an American citizen and proud member of the Métis Nation of Canada and the Métis Federation of Canada, Caitlin honors her heritage through storytelling that bridges cultures and generations.
