Benjamin Joseph Mora Hopkins aka Benny Blanquito aka Tha Kid was born and raised in New York City, specifically the Boogie Down Bronx. He's half Hispanic, half W.A.S.P, full Papi.

2024 credits include: "Mayor of Kingstown"(Paramount+, recurring), "Power Book IV: Force", (Starz, Guest Star), "Chicago PD" (NBC, recurring) and "Emperor Of Ocean Park" (MGM+).

Past credits include top-of-show guest star roles on the TV shows "FBI" (CBS), "Chicago PD" and "Chicago Med" (NBC). He features in David Duchovny's upcoming film "Reverse The Curse" (Tribeca Film Festival '23). Recent credits include The CW's "4400", Apple TV+'s "The Shining Girls" and AMC's "61st Street".

He trained in the theatre at the Beverly Hills Playhouse for 7 years. He has also trained at Lesly Kahn & Co. in Los Angeles, and with Dexter Bullard and Shade Murray in Chicago. His uncle and mentor is actor Jason Beghe. He is represented by Gray Talent Group and by Aaron Bergman at Iconoclast.
