- Marco is a Warwick bass endorser. His collection consists of two Infinitiy NTs, Vampyre NT, Alien Acoustic bass, and his latest addition, the rusty finish Buzzard bass. He uses a Warwick Amp rig: Tubepath 10.1 head on cab.

- Released his first album as a solo artist under the name "Marko Hietala". He released the same songs in Finnish in 2019 album with the name - Mustan Sydämen Rovio and an English lyrics album in 2020 called - Pyre of the Black Heart.
