Amelie McKendry is a true professional with a tireless work ethic and a vibrant personality to match. This versatile American actress has made her mark in numerous popular TV shows, feature films, and commercials over nearly two decades.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Amelie developed a passion for performing at a young age. Of UK and European descent, she was named after her great-grandmother, a Welsh opera singer. Encouraged by her supportive family, many of whom are artists and performers themselves, Amelie decided to pursue a career in acting after high school. She moved to Los Angeles and earned a B.A. in Theater Arts and Dance from California State University, Los Angeles. During her studies, she honed her professional skills, working steadily as an actress, dancer, and model. Amelie is currently pursuing her Master's in Media Producing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, with an expected graduation in 2027.

Amelie's professional acting career began with her debut in the pilot episode of the TV show "Miss Match," starring Alicia Silverstone. Since then, she has maintained a constant presence on both big and small screens, amassing over 30 on-screen credits and becoming a member of SAG-AFTRA.

Her television credits include high-profile shows such as "Orange Is the New Black," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Hallmark," and the Emmy-winning HBO mini-series documentaries "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst" and "A Wilderness of Error."

Selected feature films include "The Cutman," "Ella McCay," "Let Them Have Their Way," "NYC Rooftop Story," "All We Had" with Katie Holmes, "Norman" with Richard Gere, "Ovum," "Bubble Girl" with Abigail Hawk, and the horror film "Dry Bones." Most recently, Amelie starred in Terry R. Wickham's Hitchcockian thriller "Double Vision."

In addition to her acting career, Amelie has expanded her talents behind the scenes, serving as an associate producer on several films, including the festival favorite "NYC Rooftop Story" and the award-winning short "The Kids Menu," featuring Vincent Pastore from "The Sopranos." Amelie is a passionate supporter of women's rights and gender equality in the film industry, dedicated to creating a positive change and determined to make a meaningful impact.
