Biography

Hidetaka Miyazaki is known for Elden Ring (2022), Bloodborne (2015) and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019).

During his childhood he would often read English fantasy and science fiction literature that he did not fully understand, allowing his imagination to fill in the blanks by using the accompanying illustrations, something he later cited was a major influence on his design philosophy.

The second president of FromSoftware.

Miyazaki has stated in an interview that he doesn't want his family to play his games because he feels that they might see the bad part of him.

Despite having no previous expierence as a game designer, he was given a chance and got hired by FromSoftware in 2004 where he started working as a planner.
