Nephew of Shakti Kapoor son of his sister.

Married to television actor and co star Gitanjali Tikkekar.

Born as Sahil but uses the name Sikander which was the real name of his grandfather (Sikander Lal Kapoor) and Shakti Kapoor's father.

Sikander was to debut in Vidhyaarthi: The Power of Students when in started in 1999. He later opted out.
