- Unfortunately, as much as I love music, my talents do not equal my passion. I do own a ukulele, which I play whenever I can, but it definitely isn't the coolest instrument in the world. I guess while playing Tommy my other artistic aspirations were substituted for his love of music. I definitely understand his obsessions. For me it's a general love of storytelling through film, theatre and writing, and just like Tommy, I have a lot of ideas and aspirations that don't always sound practical to everyone else.
- Ha ha. In primary school I used to do my own one-man shows, but I don't think they ever impressed anyone. I've tried writing songs for girls, but they would probably be more impressive if I knew how to sing. Once I had to pick my girlfriend-at-the-time up from the airport and I came dressed in wrapping paper. I don't know what she thought, but the other people at the airport were more impressed with how stupid I was willing to look.
