Robin Fitzgerald(I)

I lucked or rather stumbled into becoming a career set costumer when a low budget feature I landed post college (FIDM 2002-2004) turned union. After first working with stylist and vegan shoe impresario, Rebecca Mink on small shoots and pilots, I met seasoned costume designer Jayme Bohn who gave me my first job on a feature in 2004 (thank you Jayme!). I fell in love with movie making and never looked back. Since those early days, I have had the fortune to work on a variety of projects, commercials, photo shoots, television shows and feature films. While still in Los Angeles, I assisted Rebecca in launching Mink Shoes the first high end vegan shoe line while working crazy set hours on indie films. Love brought me to New York City in 2010 and my career really took off. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit which leads me to my new endeavor, opening New York's first large scale costume rental house, New York Costume Company.
