Vinny Chhibber is an American actor and producer whose work spans prestige television, independent film, and cultural advocacy. He is known for his role as Jag Bhullar in David E. Kelley's ABC/Hulu crime drama Big Sky, starring alongside Janina Gavankar in a performance critics compared to the sibling rivalries of Succession and Ozark. He played series regular Liam Bhatt - a gay, Indian-American Muslim teacher -starring opposite Noah Wyle in CBS's landmark limited series The Red Line, executive produced by Ava DuVernay and Greg Berlanti, earning praise from The Hollywood Reporter, RogerEbert.com, and Vanity Fair. He also appears in Noah Baumbach's Academy Award-winning film Marriage Story and as NASA astronaut Ravi Vaswani in Season 4 of Apple TV+'s For All Mankind.
As a producer, Chhibber co-founded Chhibber Mann Productions with fellow actor/producer Mike Manning, whose credits include the documentary Lost in America featuring Rosario Dawson and Tiffany Haddish, Folk Hero & Funny Guy (Tribeca Film Festival), and M.F.A. (SXSW). Chhibber also co-founded The Salon alongside actor Nik Dodani and agent Bash Naran - a community organization for South Asian artists and executives in Hollywood that has been recognized by Good Morning America, Deadline, and Vanity Fair. The Salon's mentorship program drew over 850 applicants nationwide in its first year.
A graduate of Emory University and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Chhibber was born and raised in Queens, New York and Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Most recently, Chhibber was cast as a series regular in Foster Dade, a drama pilot written and executive produced by Greg Berlanti - marking his second collaboration with the prolific producer following The Red Line - starring alongside Matt Bomer and Chloe East. Based on Nash Jenkins' debut novel Foster Dade Explores the Cosmos, the sophisticated boarding school mystery is directed by Emmy-winning director Daniel Minahan and produced by Warner Bros. Television.
