  • Daven has been working in visual effects and animation for over 15 years. He has worked on 2 feature films, The Matrix Reloaded and The Patriot, as well as 28 video game titles; F1 Race Stars, F1 (2010, 2011, 2012), Dirt 3, Dirt Showdown, Operation Flash point: Red River, Bodycount, Dawn of War: Soul Storm, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Nintendo's Pennant Chase Baseball, The Outfit, Knights of the Temple: Inferno Crusade, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Knights of the Temple: Inferno Crusade, Batman: A Dark Tomorrow, Enter the Matrix, Raven Blade, Delta Force II, NBA Live, FIFA: (Road to the World Cup 98, World Cup 98, 99), Madden 2000, NCAA 2000, Triple Play (99 and 2000), NHL (98 and 99), and Road Rash 3D.

    After a short stint with the Canadian Armed Forces, in 1996 Daven found his way into Video Games at Electronic Arts working in their Motion Capture department. He started as a grip and worked his way up to a Lead position before moving to Los Angeles in 1999. Where he started work for House of Moves as a motion capture pipeline specialist for games, television and a feature film, The Patriot. Working within motion capture, Daven focused on expanding his skill set and gravitated towards work flows and technical animation. In 2001 he worked on The Matrix Reloaded as a motion capture tracking supervisor. He spent the next few years working in Europe and Canada on games and television as a Lead Animator further expanding his skills in technical animation as well as key frame animation. In 2008 Daven moved to England to work in games as an animation director.

    During his 5 years in England, Daven focused on leadership as well as turned his attention to storytelling. Looking for ways to heighten the audience's experience within the projects he worked on Daven started learning how to tell stories both written and visually. This brought him to work with the talented staff as well as students at the East 15 Acting School, further heightening his passion for entertainment.
