Biography

Charles Borg earned his MFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University and launched his career in reality television, quickly rising from Production Coordinator to Writer/Co-Producer on two seasons of Knockout, a boxing docu-series produced by FUSE and streamed on Hulu. He wrote, produced, and co-directed the psychological thriller Caiman (streaming on Tubi, Amazon, and YouTube VOD), and his additional writing credits include the indie art-house features Man (Tubi) and Young Ali, winner of Best Feature at the Berlin Indie Film Festival. He also co-produced the feature Three Worlds (AppleTV+ and Amazon) and most recently served as 2nd Unit Producer and 2nd Unit Director on the feature Hekla, slated for release in 2026.

Charles is the founder of Smash To:, a script consulting company whose clients include Yotta Games (Mafia - the video game), Andrew Gordon (ex-Creative Director at Pixar), Mickey Capoferri (Lucasfilm), and Ryan Bathe (This Is Us).
