  • Rachel Dik graduated from Calvin College earning her Bachelor's Degree in Communications Arts and Science with an emphasis on Mass Media. After graduating, she worked as the Communications Manager for Compass Film Academy, a non-profit film school. Since then, Rachel has worked on numerous short films and corporate projects in a number of different capacities including Producer, Director, and Script Supervisor. Her most notable feature film credits include Up In The Air, Marmaduke, Drive, Lost River, Old Fashioned, and The Neon Demon. She has also worked on multiple commercials for companies including, Gucci, Nintendo, Miller, H&M, and Lincoln. In 2007, she produced and directed a short documentary about the Dalits in India. She has worked as a freelance assistant to Danish Film Director Nicolas Winding Refn (Bronson, Drive, Only God Forgives) and Producer Jeffrey Stott (Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Seinfeld, 2 Guns). She's Co-Produced a TV show for Amazon Studios titled Too Old To Die Young. In her free time, she wrote a book that features her grandparents' World War II love letters - simultaneously telling the story of war and romance in the late 1940s.
