Biography

Nam Ji-hyun was born on September 17, 1995 in Incheon, South Korea. She is an actress, known for 100 Days My Prince (2018), Shopping King Louie (2016) and Hwayi: A Monster Boy (2013).

She is under Management SOOP, which is a subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment. The agency, which was established in 2011, has a strong roster of actors that includes Bae Suzy, Gong Yoo, and Nam Joo Hyuk.

She has three pet cats named Tancoo, Mone, and Uyu.

In 2014, Ji Hyun enrolled in Sogang University where she majored in Psychology. She continued being active as an actress while studying and finally earned her degree in 2020.

She started out as a child actress. Her early days as an actress saw her playing the younger versions of leading ladies in dramas such as East of Eden, Queen Seondeok, and The Great King Sejong. She got her big break when she headlined the 2016 romantic comedy series Shopping King Louie opposite Seo In Guk.
