Richard Zachariah was born on March 20, 1945 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He died on April 9, 2025 in Mortlake, Victoria, Australia.

He had lived in London, Sydney and Melbourne. He also has lived in South Australia with his partner, Sarah, on a vineyard and horse breeding property in the Adelaide Hills.

Ex partner of Maggie Tabberer.

Spent many years of his youth in the Western District of Victoria, attending Hamilton College and moving among many of the families in the area.

Has three sisters, Sue, Jane and Amanda.
