Ernesto Nemesio is an American artist and creative professional whose career spans over two decades across major animation production and traditional fine art.
Known for his contributions to feature-length animated films at Pixar Animation Studios, Nemesio has played a key role in visual development, lighting, and art direction on numerous iconic films. In addition to his work in entertainment and feature animation, he maintains an active fine art practice, specializing in plein air landscape painting, figurative art, and traditional sketching. His fine art has been featured in numerous gallery exhibitions and plein air events throughout California and the Western United States. In 2018 he earned the International Animated Film Society's Annie Award along with his team for Outstanding Achievement for Production Design in an Animated Feature Production "Coco".
