Cristina Dobritoiu

Cristina Dobritoiu is a Romanian film producer, active in the film and television industry for more than two decades. She built her career through her involvement in numerous Romanian productions for both cinema and television. Between 2000 and 2014, she worked at MediaPro Pictures, one of Romania's leading production companies. She later founded Movie Production Entertainment, through which she develops and produces film and television projects. Cristina Dobritoiu has produced well known films such as The Secret of Happiness, Octav, #Selfie, I'm an Old Communist Hag, Luca and Las Fierbinti. In parallel, she has also been involved in documentary projects. Her work has been recognized at international festivals and within the Romanian film industry. In interviews, Cristina Dobritoiu has spoken about the producer's role as both a creative manager and coordinator of the filmmaking process. In recent years, she has been involved in the international production The Yellow Tie, inspired by the life of conductor Sergiu Celibidache, starring actors such as John Malkovich and Sean Bean.
