- Eric Bendross is an award-winning American film director, director of photography, and former actor. Originally from Miami, Florida, Bendross is best known for his emotionally riveting shorts: Gold Telly Award-winning Love Conquers... (42nd Annual Telly Awards) and Bronze Telly Award-winning Really, Gabriel?! (46th Annual Telly Awards). He also created the impactful docushort My Skin Is Not a Sin, which sparks conversations about race relations in the U.S., particularly the disparate experiences of Black and White mothers.
As an actor, Bendross has appeared in numerous television, independent, and studio productions, including OWN's Checked Inn; VH1's Swab Stories; Investigation Discovery's I (Almost) Got Away With It, Wives With Knives and Sex Sent Me to the Slammer; truTV's South Beach Tow; Universal Pictures' 2 Fast 2 Furious; Purple Flowers; and more.
Bendross received his Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Cinematography and an Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Full Sail University.
