Lauren Marie Socha is an actress, known for her role in Misfits (2009).

She born June 9, 1990, in Derby, Derbyshire, England, to Kathleen (Lyons) and Robert Socha, and has Polish, English, Irish, and Italian ancestry. In 2010, Socha starred alongside Tim McInnerny in the short film Missing. She also had a minor role in the television mini-series Five Daughters.

Convicted in May 2012 of racially aggravated assault after an October 2011 incident in Derby in which a drunk Socha punched a Pakistani cab driver and went into an over-eight-minute rant in which she used derogatory slurs against the driver and threatened to have him deported. She pleaded guilty to the charges after it was revealed that the cab driver had recorded most of her rant. She was sentenced to four months in jail, one year of probation, and 80 hours of community service. The day after her conviction, it was announced that Socha would not appear in the fourth series of Misfits (2009). The producers claimed the decision had been made before her conviction.
