  • Since joining Montreal-based micro_scope in 2005, Élaine Hébert has been involved in more than 20 internationally acclaimed feature films with directors such as Denis Villeneuve, Philippe Falardeau, Stéphane Lafleur, Louise Archambault, André Turpin, Ivan Grbovic, and others. Her productions range from fiction to documentaries, including Shepherds by Sophie Deraspe (Best Canadian Film at TIFF), Ghosts of the Sea by Virginia Tangvald (Audience Award at Festival du Nouveau Cinema), For Those Who Don't Read Me by Yan Giroux (Best First Feature and Best Original Screenplay at the Quebec Cinema Gala), All That We Make by Annie St-Pierre (closing-night film at RIDM Montreal International Documentary Festival) and Remembering the Ashes: Incendies Through Their Eyes by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette (Gemeaux Award for Best Documentary). In addition to serving on the board of Montreal's Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Élaine has been collaborating with L'inis (Institut national de l'image et du son) for over 15 years as a speaker and mentor.
