Biography

Nonica was born in Athens, Greece (as Dionysia Alexandropoulou) and grew up in Lefkada (aka Lefkas), a beautiful island of the Ionian Sea. Her father was an Air Force pilot in Greece. She is extremely close to her parents and older brother. She came to the US at a young age to pursue her studies in Speech-Language Pathology (major) and Theater (minor) at Long Island University (Brooklyn, NY). She graduated cum laude having had a full scholarship. During senior year, she had a leading role in the musical The Me Nobody Knows. She attended an intense training class William Esper Studio in NYC, with the renowned Bill Esper himself. She describes this experience as the best in her acting training so far! She holds the NY State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
