William Stetz was born in Oak Park, Illinois, USA. William is a director and cinematographer, known for Jeremy's Window (2023), A Handmade Life (2010) and Go Public: A Documentary Film Project (2012).

Is an accomplished still photographer with many exhibition credits.

William Stetz was nominated for a 1976 Joseph Jefferson Award in Chicago as principal actor in a production of the "The Bloodknot" by Athol Fugard.

William Stetz, after relocating to California, working as an art director, designed the cover of Bob Dylan's music album/CD "Slow Train Coming," for Bob Dylan/CBS in 1978.
