Roberta Caocci was born in Cagliari on the island of Sardinia, Italy
where she remained until the age of 15. Despite her love of Sardinia
she felt a longing to travel. The feisty teenager followed her mother,
one of the world's top couturiers, to Scotland on school break. At the
end of her vacation, she returned to Sardinia only briefly, to pack her
bags. Once in Scotland, Caocci was quickly scouted by a fashion
photographer and began a very successful career as a print model.
Caocci's deep interest and love of all aspects of the fashion industry
blossomed over the next decade. Working both in front of the camera as
a model and behind the scenes as an apprentice to her mother, who
worked for top fashion designers Vivienne Westwood, Gucci and Valentino
to name a few.
Her exotic beauty and look made her highly castable, she transitioned easily from Italian to Spanish and even Middle Eastern. Her natural beauty and spirit attracted the attention of multi talented London based visual artist, Zoobs. The two have collaborated on numerous projects and still work together to this day. Many of Caocci's finest photographs have been taken by Zoobs.
In 2006, a chance meeting attracted the attention of a top Australian acting coach, Sandra Lee Paterson who was teaching in London. With the support of this new mentor Caocci developed a keen passion for acting. Two short months later, Caocci was discovered by Indian director Aditya Raj Kapoor. Roberta was cast as the lead of his much anticipated feature film 'Sambar Salsa'. She was quickly cast in his second film, 'Don't Stop Dreaming', the following year. Caocci's trademark is her eclectic accent, a sultry blend of Italian, Scottish and British English that make her a one-of-a-kind authentic talent.
After two solid years of filming Roberta returned to her roots in the fashion industry and took a contracted job in Geneva, Switzerland. Always meandering between being in front of the camera and behind the scenes, it was time for another shift and in 2012 Roberta set a new goal for herself. She decided to make a solid commitment to her acting career and now calls Los Angeles her home.
