François de Closets was born on 25 December 1933 in Enghien-les-Bains, Val-d'Oise, France. He is a writer and producer, known for Les mystères des pyramides (1999), Ex Libris (1988) and Le petit théâtre de Bouvard (1982). He is married to Janick Jossin. They have two children. He was previously married to Danièle Lebrun.
