Edouard Brenneisen is a composer for video games, film and television.
Most recently, Edouard composed the music for NetEase' Harry Potter: Magic Awakened and Onmyoji games, Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5 reveal, Tencent Games' behemoths PubG Mobile/Game for Peace and Honor of Kings (his contribution to which earned him nominations for HMMA and G.A.N.G. awards), Smite, Rogue Company and Paladins for Hi-Rez Studios, the 48th Annie Awards Ceremony, as well as Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.
Edouard was Lead Composer on League of Legends, for which he wrote music for several popular champions, skins, cinematics and game modes (which he was nominated for a HMMA award), and also contributed music to the mobile MOBA Wild Rift. Edouard's work runs the gamut: from animation series Yu-Gi-Oh!, the David Attenborough documentary Micro Monsters 3D, the technology-centric Anthony Zuiker thriller Cybergeddon mini-series, to some of the most played video games in the world.
While the orchestra is the backbone of his musical palette, Brenneisen also infuses his love for all things electronic as well as carefully curated ethnic music colors in many of his scores. The French-born, Berklee alum holds a particular interest for evocative melodies and storytelling through music.
Edouard lends richly textured and emotionally compelling scores to the projects he embarks upon: "The way I see my work as a composer, I am mapping out the human heart. Observing, sustaining, coercing, magnifying, expressing and creating emotions - that is what I strive to achieve in my work".
He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Billye, their daughter June and wizard dog Potter.
