Malika Z. Nichols was born in East Orange, New Jersey, on December 17th, 1999. Malika Nichols is also known as Malika Culpepper. Malika is the granddaughter of meditation and martial arts pioneer, Shaha Mfundishi. She is also the niece of Star Trek: Picard director Hanelle M. Culpepper and actor Khalil Nichols/Maasi. She moved frequently in her early years to Los Angeles, California and then to Birmingham, AL where she resided until she completed her diploma at Ramsay High School. Malika lived a simple childhood participating in acting, dance, gymnastics, ballet, track and field and soccer. Malika studies Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama. She is a recording artist, under the name Malika and has dropped singles, such as 'Matrix' and 'Fuel Me'. (3/9/2022)
