Biography

Jack(ShengChen/ShengCheng) Tu originates from Taiwan, coming from a renowned martial arts family. He is a 3-time World Martial Arts Champion, a North American Martial Arts Grand Champion, and the winner of the Heir of the Dragon television competition, which earned him the distinction of becoming Jackie Chan’s officially designated disciple. Although raised in the United States and Canada, he possesses a deep-rooted passion for traditional Chinese culture. Alongside his masterful expertise in Chinese Kung Fu, he is well-versed in the traditional arts of music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. He is particularly accomplished in watercolor and sketching, with his artwork frequently selected for public exhibitions and publication; notably, a dragon-shaped ceramic piece he created for a charity auction was selected for inclusion in a museum exhibition.

During his childhood, Tu trained in the nine-section whip under the mentorship of Jet Li and performed extensively on Asia Television (ATV). His striking look led to a continuous demand for commercial and advertising appearances abroad. After securing the championship title in the U.S. auditions for the massive television selection event Heir of the Dragon, he returned to Asia to advance his entertainment career. He subsequently starred as the male lead in the feature films Tea Fight and The Tricks of Love. In 2015, he joined the production of the blockbuster film Time Raiders (The Lost Tomb), starring as the lead character Pan Zi while also serving as the film's sole Action Director. Demonstrating his exceptional artistic talent, he independently designed the iconic "Black Gold Ancient Sword" wielded by the character Zhang Qiling in the movie.
