Biography

Brad Saville is a Brooklyn-based American filmmaker and playwright.

He graduated from the College of Charleston in 2002 with a B.S. in Marine Biology and a B.A. in Philosophy. His studies in existentialism continue to influence much of his creative work.

His first published work was a novel, Grotesque (2003), written under the name B.E. Saville.

Saville's first feature film, Williamsburg (2006), was produced independently on a small budget and screened at several festivals. His second film, Regretting Fish (2011), was shot for $10,000 and premiered at the Williamsburg International Film Festival, where it won Best Feature and Best Screenplay. It later played at the Las Vegas Film Festival, among others.

In addition to his work in film, Saville's plays have been produced on stages throughout New York, both full-lengths and shorts.

After a decade-long hiatus, Saville returned to writing in 2025 with renewed focus-completing a new screenplay, which he began pitching for production, and beginning development on two new book projects.
